As many institutions shifted to emergency remote instruction in spring 2020, all students throughout Oklahoma colleges and career tech centers had to adapt, practically overnight, to a new or modified way of learning. For many students with disabilities, this shift presented new challenges concerning the sensory, cognitive and physical capacities used to navigate online learning environments, much less their ability to access other resources and services. During this session, participants will listen to students’ stories firsthand and engage with them to learn how to individually ensure a quality, inclusive learning experience for all students, regardless of abilities.
